Q: Record your thoughts on how immigration affects you.
A: Legal immigrants enhance all of our lives. Illegal immigration, on the other hand, causes many problems, from slowing down the process for legal immigration to overburdening our system (education, law enforcement, government services, etc.) One issue that is often swept under the rug, is Identity theft. Identity theft has become necessary for many illegals to obtain employment. That crime can lead to extreme hardship on the victims, yet the criminal is rarely caught or prosecuted. Most issues with illegal immigration could be solved with tighter border security, and enforcement of laws. Please support enforcement of our laws. Thank you.

A: I live in a city full of immigrants both documented and un. It’s a fabulous place, and if any of the people weren’t here, it would be less so.

Q: Record your thoughts on how immigration affects you.
A: Immigrants make up large portions of our science and health care work forces which affect the entire country. I know that Georgian farms are also reliant on hardworking legal immigrants to meet their needs. Most immigrants I’ve met, especially those coming on HB-1 visas or as refugees are appreciate of the opportunity to work hard and contribute to this country.

Q: Record your thoughts on how immigration affects you.
A: I AM an immigrant! Came here legally 24 years ago and recently became US Citizens. It’s too difficult for migrant workers from central and south America to come to the USA legally for work which is why there are so many illegals. If there were Americans willing to do the jobs that are currently done by illegals, there would be no “market” for the illegals to come for. One of those catch 22 situations? A wall is a monumental waste of money, which would be better spent elsewhere – on our Veterans perhaps?
